I don't think women in India are vulnerable, believes Esha Gupta!

Ever since the tragic gang-rape incident took place late last year in Delhi, everyone has been worried about safety of women in India.

Speaking on the same, actress Esha Gupta has challenged the issue of women and vulnerability in the country. Seen in films such as Jannat 2Chakravyuhand Raaz 3, Esha believes that women are equally responsible for the crimes meted out against them.

"Why blame only the men? It's our society as a whole that needs to change. I don't think women in India are vulnerable. What happened to Nirbhaya was so shocking and tragic. I remember watching the news where a woman leader went on record to say that women instigate men by wearing short skirts and there are more important issues to discuss than rape! If a woman goes out with different men on different days, women only will question her character and call her all sort of names," says Esha.

However, at the same time, Esha has huge belief in the power and strength of a woman. "Women will always be beautiful no matter what and that's their specialty! I truly believe in the adage that goes something like God made man and realized he was missing something, so he made a woman."

Well said, Esha!
