It's been 40 years since Amitabh Bachchan married his co-star in 'Zanjeer', Jaya. The mega star looks back at the 'lifetime' and says that God has been good to him to give him the family he has.

The duo has worked in films like 'Abhimaan', 'Chupke Chupke', 'Sholay' and 'Zanjeer' .They had a small wedding ceremony at that time which was attended only close friends and family.

Amitabh and Jaya have two children - Shweta and Abhishek. Shweta is the largest, and is married to businessman Nikhil Nanda. He married in 1997 and now lives in Delhi. They have two children - Agastya and Navya Naveli.
Abhishek, a Bollywood actor, is married to former beauty queen and actress Aishwarya Rai.They have a daughter named Aaradhya.
