Between looking after his shoulder injury and honor her professional commitments, Shah Rukh Khan has left little or no time to spend with his family. In a recent interaction with the media however, the actor dropped everything and rushed home just in time before his daughter Suhana fly to London with friends for a holiday they had planned.
The incident took place on June 13 at the office of Red Chillies Shah Rukh was in the middle of media interviews.
An eyewitness told Mumbai Mirror: .. "Following the launch of Chennai Express trailer, Shah Rukh went to his office, where interactions with the media had aligned. Joining Deepika Padukone and Rohit Shetty, who were with him until almost midnight around 23:45, Shah Rukh seemed to whisper something to his team and ran from the building. He was not there at least for 55 minutes. "
Although no one had any idea of his whereabouts, a source close to the actor revealed the secret: "Suhana was going on vacation and so I went home to meet her as he has not had much time to be with her despite that he felt bad, he could not go to the airport to see her off. He returned to the office within an hour and resumed interviews. Later, he went to another room and called Suhana just before his flight to London took off around 2:15 a.m.. "
