The festival of Eid-ul-Zuha aka Bakri Eid signifies supreme sacrifice to the Lord or Allah. In Bollywood, stories where the hero or the heroine sacrificed their love for each other have always made for blockbuster movies. Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Dhanush, Jackie Shroff, Imran Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Anil Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Guru Dutt, Rajesh Khanna, Dev Anand – all have made their own sacrifices in films.
