Kareena Kapoor Khan honoured at the House of Commons !

The style diva gets an international honour for her contribution to the entertainment industry

Kareena Kapoor Khan was honoured at the House of Commons by Members of Parliament and Asian Sunday newspaper for her contribution to the global entertainment industry. Apart from Kareena, British celebrities like Kimberley Walsh (singer-songwriter, model, TV presenter, actor and band member of Girls Aloud); and Dynamo (AKA Steven Frayne, Dynamo: Magician Impossible).
Kareena was presented a framed golden coloured plaque by Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, on behalf of the British Government. On receiving the actor, the Gori Tere Pyaar Mein actor said, “UK has been one of my most favoured destinations. There has always been special relation between India and the UK and over the years the bond has become stronger.”
On this occasion, Saif Ali Khan‘s begum also recalled that her great grandmother was British and her father-in-law, late Nawab of Pataudi, captained Oxford cricket team.
