Several beauties from B-town turned brides at the Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013. Each one was decked up in beautiful creations by designers like Mandira Wirk, Jyotsna Tiwari, Ashima and Leena Singh, JJ Valaya and several more. We’d divas like Aditi Rao Hydari, Jacqueline Fernandez, Chitrangda Singh, Huma Qureshi who strutted the ramp.
Even newbie, Urvashi Rautela, who made her debut with Singh Saab The Greatgraced the ramp for a well-known designers. So, let’s take a look at the glam divas who turned brides just for the ramp and do tell us, who won your heart!
Jacqueline Fernandez: The Race 2 actor was seen in a pretty pink and gold outfit by Jyotsna Tiwari. With her hair let down, she looked quite stunning, to say the least. She was the most spectacular bride of this season!
Huma Qureshi: The Dedh Ishqiya actor was seen in a Leena Ashima creation. The woven red, green and gold design was finely done but did Huma look like a bride-to-be? Well, she certainly needs to lose a few kilos to begin with…
Chitrangda Singh: This dusky beauty wore a multi-coloured lehenga designed by Tarun Tahiliani. The asymmetrical hemline with numerous hues wasn’t exactly breathtaking but yes, Ms Singh like her on screen characters was sporting an unconventional bride look. Not bad!
Aditi Rao Hydari: The Murder 3 actor who was last seen in Boss and grabbed eyeballs for her bikini act looked gorgeous in a red and gold lehenga choli by Preeti S Kapoor. She looked like a dream come true as four men pulled a flower chaddar over her as she sashayed the ramp.
Esha Gupta: Esha Gupta shed her sexy avatar to play the perfect bride-to-be on the ramp in an intricately designed lehenga by JJ Valaya. It was trendy yet traditional and she looked every bit a beautiful and sexy dulhan!
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh: This duo looked cute together as they they took to the ramp for Neeta Lulla. Though their outfits weren’t really flattering with Riteish’s hue being the eye sore, Genelia’s smile more than made up for the not-so happening clothes.
Dia Mirza: She looks flawless no matter what she wears. It could be ‘coz she’s blessed with good looks. Dia sashayed the ramp for Raghavendra Rathore in a jumbled red skirt topped with a blackachakan. She didn’t look like a bride but she certainly made heads turn.
Sophie Choudry: Sophie walked in a creation by Mandira Wirk. Though the design was worth praise, but it didn’t work wonders for Sophie’s body type.
Urvashi Rautela: This newbie of B-town walked the ramp for Jyotsna Tiwari in a white gown. We thought she looked like any other model; nothing that really made her stand out. Wethinks she could’ve done much better, na peeps?
