The first look of Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Daawat-e-Ishq is out, and we must say that the poster rightly depicts the story of the film, which is directed by Habib Faisal. We surely love all the vibrant pinkness in the poster, do you?
In the film, Parineeti plays the character of a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl, Gulrez ‘Gullu’ Qadir, who is discouraged with love. All thanks to her encounters with those dowry-seeking men. While Aditya plays Tariq ‘Taru’ Haidar, a Lucknowi cook, who can make anybody go berserk with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kakori kebabs. And the story is about the clash between these two diverse personalities and how they fall in love with each other.
Daawat-e-Ishq also features Anupam Kher in pivotal role and marks the Bollywood debut of TV actor, Karan Wahi. The film is set to hit the theatres on September 5.
