It hasn’t even been an entire day since Priyanka Chopra‘s Mary Kom released and the film has already set the cash registers ringing.
The film has made opened remarkably well at the Box office with Rs 8.5 crores approximately. We are guessing that apart from rigorous promotions it is the state of being uncontested at the theatres currently (considering that Raja Natwarwal hasn’t picked up at the BO) which is helping the film get great business
Trade analysts are expecting that PC’s Mary Kom will emerge as the biggest opener among all the other women-oriented films that have come out this year. Being tax-free in Maharashtra and other states has already given Mary Kom an edge over Rani Mujerji’s Mardaani.
