If you’ve been a fan of John Abraham, you would know that the actor tries to keep it low key. You wouldn’t find him at many parties or active on social media. And that’s because John is still living in the SMS age!
According to Hindustan Times, in an interview with Shilpa Shetty, John Abraham revealed that he doesn’t use WhatsApp and is planning to go off social media completely.
“I don’t have any social media on my phone. I am not even on WhatsApp, I am on SMSes from the stone age and very soon I’d be going off social media completely. I think it’s a big detox in my life and I am very happy.”

Revealing another interesting bit about himself, John claimed that he hasn’t had his favourite sweet, Kaju Katli, in 27 years! He doesn’t have aerated drinks too and believes that sugar is poison.
“It has been 27 years. It has been a long time. I do not have aerated drinks. I believe that sugar is the biggest poison in the world, more than cigarette smoking.”
That’s not all to John Abraham’s old school life. Apparently, the actor has taken only 3 days of holiday in the past 18 years and that it is “unfortunate and boring”. He wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.
“I want to clarify that it is not a good thing, everybody needs a break.”

He stressed how in the entertainment industry, people are concerned with what a person is from the outside whereas he believes that what’s on the inside holds immense significance.
“In our industry, we are all bound by a string called insecurity. Because of this insecurity, vanity comes into the picture and we do a lot for vanity. Now, I have reached the stage where it does not matter how I look on the outside. But, it is more important, how we feel inside.”
In an age of social media and cheap fast food, John Abraham’s lifestyle sure is an eye-opener. Don’t you think?
