A hot and sexy model and player, and now the pleased
mother of a baby girl, Lara Dutta Bhupathi is now the part of the
‘Bollywood’s Yummy Mummy’ bandwagon. She was born on 16th April 1978 in
Ghaziabad, to an Indian dad and an Anglo-Indian mother. She has two elder siblings.
Lara accomplished her learning from St. Francis Xavier young women’ High School and open Anthony Public School. She retains a degree in economics from the University of Mumbai.
Lara won the Indian Annual Gladrags modeling challenge and represented India at the 1997 overlook Inter-Continental, which she won too. She was furthermore crowned Femina overlook India Universe. Lara tallied the largest marks in the swimsuit aaround of Miss cosmos 2000. With her high scores of 9.99, she went on to become the Miss cosmos that year. She was subsequently nominated as the UNFPA generosity Ambassador in the year 2001.
Lara then forayed into Bollywood with her first movie ‘Andaaz’. The movie was a success and won her the Filmfare Best feminine Debut accolade. Thereafter, she emerged in a number of movies, of which some were well-received by the assemblies. Her films like ‘Masti’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Bhagam Bhaag’, ‘Partner’, ‘Housefull’ and ‘Don 2: The King is Back’ fared well at the box office.
Lara was also seen in movies like ‘Khakee’, ‘Bardaasht’, ‘Elaan’, ‘Kaal’, Ek Ajnabee’, ‘Zinda’, ‘Billu Barber’, ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’, ‘Blue’, ‘Chalo Dilli’ and several other ones, but these didn’t do well at the box office.
