Popular actor Karan Wahi, who won your heart by hosting Star Plus popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 is all set to host another reality show. This time the actor is not hosting any dance show, but he is hosting the very popular singing reality show of Sony TV Indian Idol. Yes guys,,, you read it right. Karan Wahi has finalized to host Indian Idol Junior along with Shanti fame Mandira Bedi who was last seen hosting the second season of Star Plus musical competition show Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar (JJWS).
About Karan Wahi
Born on June 9, 1986, Karan Wahi is an Indian Television Actor who is best known for his role on Star One’s soap, Remix. Karan later starred as Rajveer Malhotra in the show Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari on Colors TV. In 2009, he starred in Dill Mill Gayye in the lead role of Dr. Siddhanth Modi opposite Jennifer Winget.
About Mandira Bedi
Born on April 15, 1972, Mandira Bedi is an Indian actress, model and television presenter. Mandira is popularly known for her role in the 1994 Indian television serial, Shanti. After Shanti, Bedi appeared in a supporting role in the 1995 film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ). Mandira also seen in the shows like Aurat (DD and Sony), Dushman (DD) and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus).
Mandira was the presenter of reality show, Fame Gurukul & replacing R. Madhavan as the anchor of Deal Ya No Deal. She also hosted musical reality show Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star on STAR One. She also hostd ICC Cricket World Cups in the years 2003 and 2007 and the Champions Trophies in the years 2004 and 2006 as well as the Indian Premier League season 2 for Sony Max. Apart of anchoring, she also judged the two comedy shows called Funjabi Chak De and Laughter Knights along with Navjot Sidhu on Star One. She was the first and only female winner in the first season of Fear Factor India on Sony Entertainment Television. Mandira Bedi married Raj Kaushal on 14 February 1999. Mandira gave birth to a baby boy named Vir on 19 June 19 2011 at Lilvati Hospital, Mumbai.
Apart of anchors, the Judging panel for Indian Idol Junior was also finalized & it will be comprised of versatile playback singer Shreya Ghoshal, music director Vishal Dadlani and his partner Shekhar Ravijani.
