The much awaited Opening Ceremony of the 6th IPL was truly a night of stars starting with a classical dance presentation recited lines by Shah Rukh Khan Rabindra Nath Tagore's poem "Where the mind shows no Fear" finally culminated in a full drama with the trio of Bollywood - Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan who conducted performances of songs from his films.
Apparently Deepika Padukone made a repitition of her performance in Zee Cine Awards 2013 and had it not been for the fabulous performance by Pitbull, the opening ceremony could have been easily confounded as any Awards Ceremony Bollywood.
Deepika was the first to dance songs of Race 2 and Cocktail . Then came Katrina Kaif who was dressed as an Egyptian Goddess curiously a golden gown and crown on her head and it seems that in the IPL 6 is where India witnessed the transformation of Egyptian Goddess.Pitbull began with dancing 'Hey baby' along with 'I'm sexy and I know it' and just before ending his presentation with one of his most popular hits 'Give me everything tonight'
