His brother Ravi Shankar had filed a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police station on Tuesday, saying he had gone to a hotel of the star and her mobile phone has also been disconnected.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (West Zone) G Sudheer Babu, the actress filed with the police tonight and gave a statement saying that "she was stressed because of his busy shooting schedule", and had gone to Mumbai for a getaway.
She was presented to the police, as it lacked the case registered in the city, said the DCP, adding that based on his statement a final report will be presented to the court.
