In the new poster of ‘Kochadaiyaan’, was unveiled by Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundrya R Ashwin, who is directing the film.

The poster of the historical drama shows Rajinikanth in two avatars one of a warrior and another of a sage.

Written by K S Ravikumar, ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is a “performance-capture photorealistic film”, a technology that was used in films like Avatar and Tin Tin.
In the film, Rajnikant is playing a dual role as father and son.
Produced by Soundarya R. Ashwin along with Eros, ‘Kochadaiyaa’, also features R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar.
The soundtrack and background score of the film is composed by A. R. Rahman and cinematography is handled by Rajiv Menon.
The film will be dubbed and simultaneously released in Telugu as Vikrama Simha, Malayalam and English, and will also be released in Hindi and Japanese.
