On May 30, the film industry lost an exceptionally talented filmmaker, Rituparno Ghosh. This filmmaker of 49 years died at his residence in Kolkata of a heart attack.
Many renowned personalities recogida at his residence to Pay Their Last tributes to him. His body was taken to the Tollygunge Studios, where the minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee paid him tribute. Kolkata Police honored him with a gun salute.
Also at the funeral Aparna Sen, Anjon Dutt, Debashree Roy, Mrinal Sen, Parambrata Chatterjee, Sujoy Ghosh, Pauli Dam and others.
Not only was his death a great loss to Tollywood Also a loss for was entertained by the film fraternity.
