"Neenaji will be playing a mother figure to Juliet, played by Amyra Dastur. She has a delightful screen presence and a wacky sense of humour," said director Manish Tewary while confirming the news. TOI has learnt that Gupta will be called Amma in the film.
The movie also stars Prateik Babbar, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Makrand Deshpande, Sudhir Pandey and Vineet Kumar Singh. Gupta remained unavailable for comment.
