Rajeev Khandelwal who successfully morphed from small screen to silver screen will be next seen in the suspense adventure named 'Samrat & Co.' . Rajeev will don the hat of a detective in this thriller. The film will be produced by Kavita Barjatya and will be directed by Kaushik Ghatak. 'Samrat & Co.' is supposed to commence the shoot from this September.The actor is excited about the genre of the film. He said that he has totally surrendered himself to the director as he wanted to follow the director's vision. He expressed that presently he is not thinking too much about his character as the creative team has done a lot of groundwork for him. The reports say that Rajeev will attend a 15 day workshop to prepare himself for this role. He revealed that he does not have any favorite among the detectives. He didn't even read any detective stories in his childhood days. He just remembers some jasoos stories like 'Karamchand'. To prepare for this role, he recently watched many detective films from Hollywood.
Kaushik Ghatak , the director said that he has been working on the script of 'Samrat & Co.' since four years. The movie is about a private detective whose intellect is his biggest weapon. His style, behavior , eccentricities and his presence of mind will make him a loveable character.
'Samrat & Co.' which is produced under the banner of Rajshri Productions may hit the screens in mid 2014.
