The United Nations, with the support of the Bollywood superstar launched a new global campaign called The World Needs More for World Humanitarian Day. It’s a campaign seeking to turn words into real assistance for communities affected by humanitarian crises.
Kid President who is the star of a successful series of YouTube videos is helping to spread the campaign message to new audiences. He interviewed a number of global leaders and entertainers for the campaign, including Big B.
In this video interview, Mr. Bachchan shares his personal mission to eradicate polio. He says, “Each child must survive and thrive and for that, the world needs more Immunization”.
According to a UN statement, Bachchan joins a growing number of international celebrities who have supported the campaign, including Beyonce, Kid President, Jennifer Lopez, Susan Sarandon, LL Cool J, Geena Davis, Trey Songz and Christina Applegate.
