It was just a day ago that Anil Kapoor joined Twitter after a lot of insistence from his daughters Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. The actor who will be seen in the much awaited TV show 24 used the micro blogging site to unveil the show’s first look. The actor tweeted, “First look of #24india ! The teaser looks great… Can’t wait to show it to you guys.
The poster has Anil looking at a time bomb which clearly signifies the concept of the show. The Slumdog Millionaire actor was part of the eighth season of US version of the action series.
The Indian edition of 24 is written by Rensil D’Silva and directed by Abhinay Deo. Anil produces and acts in this action series. The show will also star Mandira Bedi, Tisca Chopra and Shabana Azmi. Anupam Kher will play the role of a RAW officer in the series.
24 is a suspense drama based on the American series of the same name. The Indian version is called 24 India and will premier in October this year on Colors.
