The song from Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam titled Tere mohalle is a fun dance number. Though the song from Abhinav Kashyap’s quirky comedy is high on energy, Ranboo is seen doing the same trademark steps he has performed in his recent dance numbers. The way Kapoor walks into the ceremony with his friend instantly reminds us of Ranveer Singh in the song Main toh ainvayi from Band Baaja Baaraat. And there are moments between Ranbir and debutant Pallavi Sharda as they indulge in a jugalbandi that are of the strangely been there-seen that already too often variety!
Composed by Jatin Lalit and sung by Mamta Sharma and Aishwarya, the song is a naughty club number that is perfect to dance to. But the setting brings back immediate memories of Jogi maahi heer raanjhnaa from Bachana Ae Haseeno picturised on Ranbir, Minissha Lamba and Kunal Kapoor – and we liked that one much better than this track.
