Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra were on the sets of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 6on the same day for the promotions of their upcoming films – Zanjeer 2.0 and Shuddh Desi Romance. Both sisters have always talked fondly about each other; in fact Parineeti had said that it was PeeCee who kept her updated about all B-town gossip. But now it seems like these sisters have become the fodder for gossip mills! Reason – Priyanka and Parineeti’s films will clash at the box-office on September 6. PeeCee had tried hard to avoid this clash; however circumstances changed with Pari’s Dubai promotions – resulting in her film being preponed and releasing alongside Priyanka’s Zanjeer 2.0. And with both films releasing on the same day there will be more than just a war at the box-office. There has been a game of one-upmanship in B-town always, especially when films release together. We witnessed a bitter battle outside box-office when Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express released along with Akshay Kumar’s Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara. Now will the Exotic babe and Ishaqzaadi fight it out in the open or will they shy away from all such speculations.
Thankfully for them, their films belong to different genres, while PC’s is an action drama, Parineeti’s is an out-and-out romantic film and hopefully both will manage to stand on their own.
