Director Anees Bazmee seems to be mighty impressed with Shruti Haasan’s recent performances in D-Day and Ramaiya Vastavaiya. Well, that’s probably the reason he has singed Ms Haasan for Welcome Back which stars John Abraham in the lead. Earlier, the director had approached Sonakshi Sinha but she could not commit due to date issues. Later, Asin was brought onboard but after watching Shruti’s recent releases the makers decided to rope her in. While talking to tabloid, Anees confirmed the news and said, “Yes, it is true. We were talking to a lot of actor including Asin. Shruti fits the bill better.” Looks like Kamal Haasan’s daughter is slowly kicking it up in Bollywood!
Earlier, Shruti has even bagged Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gabbar opposite Akshay Kumar replacing Himmatwala actor Tamannaah Bhatia. All we can say is luck has finally struck for this talented actor!
