It’s a well known fact that Balaji head honcho Ekta Kapoor believes in numerology, astrology and lucky mascots. Apparently, the TV czarina considers Vidya Balan lucky for herself. That’s the reason Ms Kapoor approached the Ghanchakkar actor to make a friendly appearance in her Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha-Imran Khan starrer Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara. In fact, we hear Vids didn’t think twice before agreeing to Ekta’s request. Well, we aren’t surprised ‘coz Vidya and Ekta’s friendship goes back to their Hum Paanch days. The latter one gave the talented actor her first break on TV in her hit series Hum Paanch and since then, the two have remained good friends.
However, the song in which Vidya has featured hasn’t been released by the makers of the film as yet. Looks like Ekta wants to keep her fans curious about her film till it hits the screens on August 15.
