He is just two films old, but the actor says he has already realised the power of cinema
Sushant Singh Rajput, whose second movie Shuddh Desi Romance released on Friday, says his source of inspiration is Bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan.
“I told Shahrukh when I met him that I’m an actor because of him,” said the 27-year-old actor.
“When I used to watch his films earlier, I used to feel that acting as a profession is so powerful, you can convince people of something which you’re not. Or maybe it’s so larger than life and you can hide behind all these interesting and exciting characters. But I didn’t take acting seriously then,” he added.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che!, made the confession on UTV Stars’ show Breakfast To Dinner. The episode featuring Sushant will air on Sunday (September 8).
