Reportedly, we might soon get to see the most Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha to do a film?
We have been waiting to see Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha together since Silsila was released in 1981. Well, it could soon become a thing of the past!
A few days back we reported that the makers of Welcome have approached Amitabh Bachchan to be a part of the film’s sequel Welcome Back. If Big B gives a nod, he will take ahead the role of RDX, originally played by the late Bollywood actor Feroz Khan. We now hear that Rekha has been reportedly offered to play the role of a rich designer in the sequel of Welcome.
If sources are to be believed, Firoz Nadiadwala has already approached Rekha for the role. The director will soon meet the two actors and finalise them for Welcome Back. Our khabrootold us, that if things work out, we will actually get to see them share the screenspace as they would have a few scenes together.
Welcome Back‘s cast includes John Abraham and Shruti Haasan along with Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor reprising their roles. The film is expected is to go on floors soon.
