Anil Kapoor is excited about his TV debut. His cop-drama 24 is already making a buzz and the 56-year-old actor will soon gear up for his next based on the Partition of India-Pakistan.The film will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi with whom Anil shares a great rapport. Together they have given us films such as Pukar and Lajja. “Yes, I’m working with Santoshi again. It’s his most ambitious film till date,” said Anil in his interview to a daily.
We hear Santoshi wanted to make that film for a very long time. The film is based on a play called Jis Lahore Nahi Dekhya Who Jamiya Hi Nahin, which about the Indo-Pak Partition. Santoshi believes that his movie will talk about tolerance and living together in peace and harmony.
