The actor also believes in fitness, propagates women safety and still is rooted to the ground.

Atul began his career with Kannada movie, Bhoomi Geetha and his first bollywood flick was Hey Ram, for which he won the National award. And the rest like they say is history, Atul has been part of critically acclaimed movies like Chandni Bar, Khakee, Page 3, Rang De Basanti, Delhi 6 and Natrang.
He was recently seen in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s popular Zanjeer. The new film stars Priyanka Chopra and newbie Ram Charan Teja but hasn’t fared too well at the box office. However, Atul’s latest Marathi movie, Premachi Goshta opposite Sagarika Ghatge was a huge hit.
The year 2013 has had a lot of first times for Atul. The actor made his debut on TV as a host with the crime based reality show Savdhaan India. Interestingly, Atul is all set to make his debut internationally this year. The actor will be seen in the epic romance time travel adventure film Singularity directed by Roland Joffé; also starring Bipasha Basu.
