Shahid Kapoor is all set to share screen space with his ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor (now Khan). At least, that is what the Phata Poster Nikhla Hero star said in a recent interview. The duo has certainly moved on from their past as a couple, even though they refused to come together for even a short while to promote their last film, the dud called Milenge Milenge. Now with Kareena having become Saif Ali Khan’s begum, we’re sure the past is gonna stay firmly in the past and professionalism will take over. Shahid elaborated on how he wouldn’t let personal equations come in the way of professional choices. “The decision for Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor to work together will never be mine. I have no issues or reservations in taking up a project that features Kareena. I have always maintained this. Whichever actor my director feels is best for the role he has in mind, should be roped in. Eventually, we all work on the same film. My so-called ‘reservations’ and personal comfort zones can’t define my work. That’s not being professional. I feel that even if an actor is cast for the lead role or for any other part in the film, it is his job to do the film and not create an issue.”
