The controversial babe of Bollywood turns 37 today
Born on October 24, 1976, Mallika Sherawat aka Reema Lamba is the talk of the town ‘coz of her new show on Life Ok, The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika.
The bold actor, who is known to speak her mind, will be selecting her humsafar (partner) from the 30 suitors who claim to love and cherish her. And the entire country, at least we’d like to think so, is waiting with bated breath to know who the lady will pick as her lover.
Mallika came into the limelight when she explicitly kissed 17 times onscreen in her first Bollywood flick, Khwahish. She took it a notch higher in Mahesh Bhatt’s Murder. The rest like they say is history.
Mallika became a renowned name in the west when she signed up for a role in Jackie Chan’s The Myth. And then did a Hollywood movie titled Politics of Love, which revolved around Barack Obama’s political campaign. She is currently working on Dirty Politics.
Coming from a small town in Haryana, Mallika has achieved everything on her terms without any godfather in the industry, which is quite commendable.
