The Hero No. 1 actor will play the Rockstar dude’s dad in Anurag Basu’s next
After winning both critical acclaim and the hearts of cinegoers with Barfi!, Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu are all set to work together again. The film is titled Jagga Jasoos that will bring together 1990s hit star Govinda and current heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor together on the screen as father-son. Ranbir is quite excited to work with Hero No. 1 actor as his on-screen dad. “I am very excited about the film because we all somewhere have been influenced by Govinda as an actor and dancer. For me, he playing my step-father is really an exciting opportunity for me,” said Ranbir. ”I hope withJagga Jasoos, we can give him the right platform to his talent,” added the 31-year-old.
The movie will also mark the Kapoor lad’s foray into production. “I don’t have any pressure as a producer. I am working with Anurag Basu again and we have certain ideology about films. We are here to make a good and entertaining film,” said the actor whose last film Besharam fell flat at the box office.
Ranbir will once again team up with Katrina Kaif again in the film after Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
