Well, we are talking about Anees Bazmee’s film Weclome Back which is the sequel to his 2007 hit comedy
Rumours were rife that Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha were to star in Anees Bazmee’s Welcome Back. After three decades the legendary Bollywood jodi was finally coming together, it was believed. But all Big B-Rekha fans who loved their sizzling chemistry in late Yash Chopra’s love triangle Silsila won’t get to see them onscreen any time soon. We hear the two actors won’t be coming together for the sequel of Welcome as reports suggest that Suuny Deol has been approached to play the lead opposite Rekha in the film.Earlier the Welcome Back director said, “I want to work with Amitabh and Rekhaji. She has said yes to the role, but I still have to meet her and discuss it. I haven’t met them yet. Rekhaji is a fine actor and I always wanted to work with her.” Looks like Bazmee will have to wait a bit longer to work with his dream jodi.
On the other hand if Sunny Deol actually stars opposite Rekha, we wonder how the two will look together.
