Yesterday we unveiled the look of the star cast of Dedh Ishqiya. And were we pleased with the posters… Madhuri Dixit-Nene looked picture perfect for her character, Begum Para, a courtesan. In this image too she looks royal, with her shining nosepin and that million dollar smile.
We also told you that the movie is a sequel to the Vidya Balan starrer Ishqiya and director Abhishek Choubey has woven the new plot around romance, passion and deceit. In a latest update, we found out more about the story. Apparently the movie is not just about love. It is about how a person falls in love, going through seven stages. “It is an interesting concept and has been beautifully portrayed too. Two of the characters, played by Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi are having a conversation over a drink, when Naseer saab educates him about the seven stages which are dilkashi (attraction),uns (attachment), mohobbat (love), akidat (trust), ibadat (worship), junoo (madness) followed bymaut (death),” producer Mansi Maroo told a tabloid.
If you ask us, with that grace and finesse that is so part of her Madhuri will not only make her fans fall in love with her, but will have them eating out of her pretty hands.
