Total Siyappa, a trailer which not only leaves your funny bone tickled but also shamelessly lets you roll on the floor laughing. Ali Zafar’s latest Bollywood venture after Chashme Baddoor, which is set for release on Jan 31, 2014, shows him vying for the acceptance of Yami Gautam’s (Vicky Donor fame) family. The movie was previously titled Aman Ki Asha and dealt with its share of controversies before the title was changed to Total Siyappa. The star cast further includes the real life couple—Kirron and Anupam Kher along with Swara Bhaskar. Directed by Eshvar Nivas and produced by Shital Bhatia and Reliance Entertainment, the story is written by Neeraj Pandey of A Wednesday and Special 26 fame. The music has been composed by the Pakistani rockstar Ali Zafar.
The trailer shows Aman (Ali Zafar) from Pakistan, trying to woo Asha’s (Yami Gautam) family members (hence, the previous title—Aman Ki Asha). The antics of Kirron Kher, a perfect Punjabi mother, makes you go hysterical. When Yami says, Meri family kisi se milne ke layak hi nahi hai, Kirron Khen promptly puts across the Indian mindset by saying, Nahi beta hum nalayak nahi hai, woh Pakistani hai. Your sense of contentment reaches ultimate heights when Ali Zafar acceptsShahid Afridi se toh hum bhi pareshan hai.
