As per the latest buzz, The Dirty Picture actor will play a rockstar in Remo D’Souza’s forthcoming film
After ABCD (Any Body can Dance) Remo D’Souza is set to direct another film starring Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Titled Badtameez, the movie will be produced by Varun Bajaj and will go on floors in the second of half of next year. Besides Remo and Emraan coming together, what’s interesting is the character the latter plays in the film. The Raaz 3 star will reprise the role of a rockstar but we don’t know yet whether if he will sport long locks like Ranbir Kapoor did in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar. We saw Emraan flaunting a ponytail in Ghanchakkar so wethinks he would easily get the look right, no? And we certainly can’t wait to see the talented actor in his all new avatar.
Confirming the news, choreographer-turned-director said to a leading daily, “Emraan will be seen playing a flamboyant rockstar. It’s a mischievous character, quite similar to his real life image. There will be many dance numbers for which he will have to attend some workshops. As of now, we are working on his look.”
We aren’t worried about the look and character but Mr Hashmi will need to work hard on his dancing skills for sure. Coz meeting Remo’s expectations as far as dance is concerned is not easy.
