It seems like the days of Indian filmmakers aping the west are finally fading away, in fact now the tides have turned. News is that a Colombian production house will be remaking the 2011 Ranveer Singh - Anushka Sharma starrer Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl .
Apparently, the Colombian company 64A Films, will be partnering with Indian production giant Yash Raj Films for the remake. However, while in the original Ranveer played the role of a conman, the remake will feature his character as a gigolo who seduces then robs the women. The yet untitled adaptation is slated to commence in the Colombian cities of Bogota, Cali and Cartagena, with 60%-to-70% of picture's action taking place in Cartagena.
