After the much successful Dil Chahta Hai , Farhan Akhtar's second directorial venture was Lakshya which surely was one of the pathbreaking movies in Hrithik's career too. And now a decade after the film's release, Farhan Akhtar got nostalgic about it as he posted about his memories attached to the film on his Twitter handle.
He tweeted, "10 years since Lakshya... an experience that will always remain close to my heart & a big shout out to all collaborators who worked as hard as any film crew possibly can. We all scaled our own personal peak 5179's that year." Along with that, filmmaker also mentioned a special thanks to the cast and crew which included Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Amitabh Bachchan, Sushant Singh, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Javed Akhtar, Ayesha Sood, Ritesh Sidhwani and Reema Kagti.
Based on the backdrop of Kargil War, Lakshya traces the journey of a young boy from an aimless collegian to a responsible army official.
