The first look promo of Salman Khan's eagerly awaited Kick will be launched at Mumbai's famous Gaiety Galaxy cinema hall on Sunday June 15. Gaiety Galaxy is considered to be the symbol of mass driven single screen theatres of India that witness the audience shelling out whistles-and-claps if a movie lives up to their idea of mass entertainment. Salman in many ways is considered the original poster boy of such mass entertainers and everyone is hoping that Kick will live up to the immense hype.
Bollywood Hungama informally spoke to first time director Sajid Nadiadwala (also the producer of Kick) who's brimming with excited-energy. He said that he will be put to a big test after being there for 27 years in the industry. Nadiadwala hopes that God will be kind to him and people will like Kick on which he has been working extremely hard. He clarified that only a song is left to be shot and the film is definitely releasing this Eid.
The production values in Jai Ho weren't up to the standards of a Salman Khan film. Sajid Nadiadwala is known to be a lavish producer who doesn't cut corners. He has shot for Kick in the unexplored territory of Poland and the set in Mahboob studio is said to be one of the most opulent sets ever created in Bollywood. Sajid is hoping that he will be able to add to the mammoth aura of Salman Khan.
