Priyanka Chopra attends UNICEF event

Priyanka Chopra had quite a busy day yesterday (June 9). Apart from attending the launch of Dilip Kumar’s biography, PeeCee also attended at UNICEF event.
The Gunday actor, who is a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF in India attended the Deepshikha program which aims at empowering young and adolescent girls in India.
At the event she talked about disparity that exists in remuneration for male and female actors in Bollywood. She also spoke about how gender discrimination existed in her family too and how her parents supported her all through. Priyanka also shook a leg with the girls, who were at the event.
Priyanka, who was shooting for Zoya Akhtar ’s Dil Dhadakne Do, flew down from Barcelona to attend the event. The actor will also attend the announcement of a road in Andheri that will be named after her late father Dr. Ashok Chopra, today (June 10), to mark his first death anniversary.
