The Holiday actor turns 27 today
Born on 2nd June, 1987, Sonakshi Sinha will blow 27 candles on her birthday cake today. Born to Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, Sona entered Bollywood with a filmi connection and was crowned as the masala queen. She quite enjoys the title and doesn’t shy away from admitting that it runs in her blood. Before entering filmdom, Sonakshi Sinha was a costume designer and has designed costumes for films like Mera Dil Leke Dekho in 2005. In 2008 a,nd 2009, she sashayed the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week. Sona had a dream debut opposite Salman Khan inDabangg (2010). She has worked opposite experienced actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and even with comparatively younger Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
The Dabangg babe hasn’t done a woman-centric film as yet but she has no qualms about playing the roles that she has done so far. Sonakshi’s performance in Looterawas one of the most note-worthy performances in her career, which even got her an offer from Broadway. Currently, the actor is busy promoting Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty with Akshay Kumar. She has also bagged a Tamil film opposite Rajinikanth titled Lingaa, which will mark her Tamil debut. Sona will is also busy with Action Jackson and Tevar.
While Sona’s acting career is on a high, she has evolved on the fashion front too. The actor who was once criticised for her weight has now attained dangerous curves and boy, she looks beautiful!
