Arguably, one of the world’s most feared yet terribly influential men on reality television, Simon Cowell will be in Mumbai for a grand televised event.
He will be collaborating for this live TV event in Mumbai this year, along with his close friend Rav Singh of RFS Entertainment. The show will be hosted by the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. He has been a judge on hit TV shows such as Pop Idol, The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and American Idol. In 2004 and 2010, Time magazine named Cowell as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
A source adds, “Cowell and Singh will be joined by some of the biggest names in Indian cinema for this event which will later be aired as a small-screen extravaganza. A formal announcement of the association will be made this week. This is one of the most ambitious projects in terms of vision and the capital involved.”
Rav Singh from RFS Entertainment Ltd confirms, “We are collaborating with Simon Cowell for a live show extravaganza that will redefine Indian television.”
