Recently while shooting for a video to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their film Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Salman Khan anointed Sooraj Barjatya as the best director in Bollywood. The director actor duo are currently working on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Karjat, where they also shot the tribute video for HAHK.
Salman Khan admired Sooraj Barjatya’s calm and composed attitude so much that he thinks certain other directors who yell a lot on sets can learn a thing or two from the HAHK director.
Salman was quoted saying, “One day, I saw Sanjay Leela Bhansali yelling, apparently he does that quite a lot, I had to tell him and I did – ‘Sanjay, you must hang around with Sooraj Barjatya. And just see how he directs’.”
Well, lets hope that Bhansali takes Salman’s advice and the actors in his future films have a more smooth-sailing time on sets with SLB!
