Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has always been very selective about the films she takes up.
Now that she has zeroed in on her comeback film, she is being flooded with offers. We hear that she was approached for Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur, which just wrapped shooting.
Says a source, “Ash had read the script and was very excited about the story but her enthusiasm dimmed when she heard the film had an ensemble cast which included Varun Dhawan, Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Yaami Gautam. She wasn’t too comfortable being part of a group of actors in her comeback film. Not just that, her character was said to be one with shades of grey, which she wasn’t too keen on. She politely turned it down.”
