Retro compositions are back and this Gulzar song justifies it pretty well

The makers of Kill Dil have come up with the latest track from the film called Sweeta. Sung by Adnan Sami and penned by Gulzar, this Shankar Ehsaan Loy composition will take you back to the 1960s. The song has an inherent sweetness to it, which is likable to a certain extent to all retro lovers.
Whats hot:
-Adnan Sami is back and the song has ‘him’ written all over it. His voice suits the song aptly and there’s hardly anyone else who could have sung it this well.
-The composition is good as it brings back the retro feel.
-The cinematography is also good as it gives you a feel of the times when listening songs on radio used to be the only source of entertainment.
What’s n
-Adnan Sami’s heavy baritone doesn’t suit Ranveer Singh’s over-energetic nature very well. The two seem to be a mismatch and throughout the song you feel as if Ranveer is lip syncing, which should ideally not be the case.
All in all the song is good and may stay in your playlist for sometime. However, it’s not that great that it becomes truly remarkable. So go ahead BollywoodLifers, listen to the track and let us know your thoughts on the same.
