Day 65 in Bigg Boss’ house is silent but very interesting

Bigg Boss has introduced a new task wherein everyone gets to pick a gift for themselves through an app. Renee Dhyani and Upen Patel are made the batteries for this task. The game was quite interesting and obviously gave way for more spice in the game. For every app that the contestants use, they consume some percentage of the battery.

The catch

To recharge the battery, Upen and Renee have to take up tasks for the duration of the task. However, these batteries are also given the option to decline a recharge if they don’t want to perform the task set up before them. The contestants are made aware that if the battery drains out and reaches the zero mark, then the task will be deemed over and the housemates will lose the luxury budget for the coming week. Keeping this in mind, the contestants collectively decided that team spirit is the way to go to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to milk the apps to their best abilities.

Sonali’s greed

As the task begins, Sonali is the first housemate to be invited to the Activity Room followed by Dimpy Mahajan, Praneet Bhat, Diandra Soares and Gautam Gulati. Sonali chooses to use two apps thereby consuming almost half of the battery at one go. Outside, the contestants are appalled to see the battery levels drop twice because Sonali has used up 42% of the battery. Sonali, who is very happy post her tryst with the apps, shows no remorse and states that she got what she wanted. Dimpy and Diandra are seen getting their share of the apps while Praneet loses on going for a date with his girl friend and instead gives up his turn for the house.

Upen gets into shit

So the battery is now reduced to 11% after Diandra shops for makeup. Upen and Renee now get the opportunity to recharge the batteries by getting into a tub full of cow dung and hunt for batteries. On hearing the task, Renee gets repulsed and debates whether she should do the task or not. She decides against it as it is not personally beneficial for her and she didn’t feel like doing favours on the other contestants. Upen toughens up and manages to do the task and recharging to about 72 per cent.

A surprise for Gautam

Gautam picks the app where he gets to meet his mother in the confession room. Gautam bawls when he sees his mom and is thrilled. Praneet gets upset that he couldn’t meet his girl and gets teary eyed. Upen and Praneet discuss Sonali’s greed to pick to options and ruin everyone else’s chances. All the housemates that charge on Sonali for misusing her turn and then lying about it.
