Because of the pandemic, the issue of unemployment in our country was at its peak. But according to Economic Times, the unemployment rate is decreasing as things are gradually going back to normal. But it’s still going to be a while for employment opportunities to boost.
A girl named Priyanka Gupta graduated in 2019 and has a degree in Economics. However, she was unable to find a job after that. Hence, she decided to take matters into her own hands and set up a tea stall near Women’s College, Patna.
“There are many chaiwallas, why can’t there be a chaiwali?” she asked.

I did my UG in 2019 but was unable to get a job in the last 2 yrs. I took inspiration from Prafull Billore. There are many chaiwallas, why can't there be a chaiwali?, she says pic.twitter.com/8jfgwX4vSK

While her story is inspiring and evocative of an entrepreneurial spirit, many people online pointed out that this is the sad reality of unemployment in India.
What a shame, true face of joblessness. Nothing to be proud of.

This narrative is far more telling about the lack of jobs than it is about her entrepreneurial spirit. https://t.co/5x5CjgPSef

On the other hand, several people lauded her spirit and wished her all the best for her future.
Atleast she will work calmly, no target job and if such target is not fulfilled will not be rebuke by her bully boss( not all but many of them are) and who knows her perseverance will make her as popular as Starbucks. All the best for her future!

I have a friend from US. Her dad is Neurologist and have a huge income. Her cousins have resturants and she sometimes go there, help in cooking to earn money. Sometimes sells own cookies and even clean the restaurants. I learnt in US they don’t see any business small or big

She is far better than all those youth taking unemployment money from Government.
If you think chaiwalas make less money, u r living in delusion. With correct placement of their thela they earn more than some of us corporate employees https://t.co/O6JmvckaSQ— अनामिका (@drifting_lost) April 19, 2022
An unemployment issue or stunning entrepreneurship? What do you think of Priyanka Gupta’s story?
