Abhishek Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai completed six years

Aishwarya and Abhishek first met on the sets of Dhai Akshar Prem Ka and tied the knot on April 20, 2007 as per Hindu rites at a ceremony at the Bachchan’s Juhu residence, Prateeksha.

It was a lavish affair, and attracted media attention from all quarters. North Indian and Bengali ceremonies were also performed.

The couple was blessed with a baby girl November 16, 2011. She was named Aaradhya.


Actress Bipasha Basu took to Twitter to wish the much-loved couple a “happy anniversary”.

“Happy Anniversary to the beautiful couple Junior Bachchan (Abhishek) and Ash! Happiness forever, together,” tweeted Bipasha.
