According Boxofficeindia, opening at the multiplex going well. It can be compared with Ek Tha Tiger, which was a Christmas version. According to reports, the film also opened well in multiplexes nonmetropolitan. Openings in individual theaters have also been good, the film surpassed the likes of Ra.One, Don 2, Rowdy Rathore etc at the opening of the figures.
The film has been released in around 3,100 screens across India. It had a beginning at the multiplex 90-100% and 60-70% on individual screens.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said on Twitter that the film is the best opening of Ranbir Kapoor. According to him, the film had a flying start in the United Arab Emirates (AED 800,000), while Barfi was AED 450000.
Therefore, the start is definitely good. It will be interesting to see how the film progresses through the next few days ..
