B-town celebs are known to be particular about their needs and wants, hotels and vehicles and more so about their vanity vans. Shahrukh Khan owns the longest vanity van (14 metres) while Sanjay Dutt had spent almost three crore on his vanity van (in vain though)! Ranbir Kapoor has joined the list of celebs who love their vanity vans so much that they get them decorated as per their liking.
The Kapoor lad roped in production designer Amrita Mahal Nakai (who worked on his latest blockbuster Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) for the makeover of his van. Though RK was happy with the basic design of his van, he wanted to add a personal touch to the design. We hear that Amrita then put up several posters of RK’s favorite Hollywood films such as Reservoir Dogs, Batman Begins and Four Rooms. A plush arm-chair, make-up mirror, a small sofa-cum-bed and a few of his personal belongings occupy most of the place in his van.
What more, an espresso machine is also installed inside the van! We wonder if that’s for RK to enjoy short coffee dates in the safety of his van, away from the paparazzi in between shots…
