The Chennai Express hottie is busy shooting for Happy New Year; says no to Fast and Furious 7
For those who were anticipating to see our leggy lass Deepika Padukone making it big in Hollywood by appearing in Fast and Furious-the famous action franchise from Hollywood-this news is a total dampener. The makers of this successful franchise were looking for a tall and sizzling Bollywood babe – “like Deepika Padukone” was the brief given to the casting agents – to play the part of a science and technology expert in the new flick. And just when we were busy figuring out how Dippy will make her international debut, we hear that she has not signed on the dotted line for any Hollywood project.
In fact, Deepika’s choc-a-bloc calendar does not permit her to make her tall presence felt on the ever-so-desirable Hollywood map. Deepika has just started shooting for Happy New Year with Shahrukh Khan. The makers of Fast and Furious wants Dips to be in the sates from September to January next year. Clearly her dates are clashing with the B-town directors and their ambitious projects’ shooting schedule. Naturally, she had no option but to pull out of the race. We even hear that a new actor has been signed for the role that was initially sketched out for Dips.
