The Rock On!! actor and director have buried the hatchet and are likely to come together again
Farhan Akhtar and Abhishek Kapoor’s friendship had gone sour over the director’s film Kai Po Che!. Apparently, Abhishek wanted to cast Farhan in the film but the latter didn’t do it. Farhan had even skipped the premiere of the film; though later he congratulated the Kai Po Che! team for its success. Now, the director-actor duo has moved on and is all set to Rock On again!
We hear that Abhishek has finalised the script for 2008 hit film Rock On!!’s sequel. Just like the original, the sequel too will be produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. Also, Farhan will lend his husky voice again for a few numbers in the sequel. Whoopee!
The other casting of the film is yet to be revealed, so we will patiently wait for more news around the sequel. The film will go on floors in the first half of next year.
